A Driving We Will Go

It was a long morning ... But we made it.  We had a four hour drive to Interlaken ahead of us, so we set out early and pushed on through.  Our plan was to get as far as we could while the kids cooperated and then stop for a break when they needed to have a little play time.  Shockingly, we only needed one stop - for gas.  The kids did incredibly well on the drive but were desperately need of time to play when we arrived.

We have stayed in another apartment in this building before, so we knew we would love it.  This apartment is slightly smaller but actually suits our needs better ... and the view is incredible!
After settling in, playing and eating lunch, we drove back into Interlaken for a walk and to hit the grocery store.
And Since we were there anyway, a cappuccino and ice cream sundae couldn't hurt ....
Then it was back to our apartment for dinner, more play and an early bedtime.  Each time we drive by, Noah points out the 'balloons' (aka paragliders) in the sky over Interlaken.
And, of course, we enjoyed the view over the lake and mountains as darkness descended.
Tomorrow's forecast is for RAIN, and lots of it.  So, we need to do a little Planning on how we will get out and help Noah get rid of his wiggles without getting soaked.
